Welcome to the Mission Campus newsletter, where you can stay up to date on all of the upcoming events in the life of our Church! Join us this weekend for Palm Sunday as we continue our Grow Up sermon series in 1 Corinthians, exploring what it means to grow in spiritual maturity.
This week, our focus will be on 1 Corinthians 11:2–16. Join us as we explore this unique and often challenging passage—and reflect on what it means to live in light of God’s design. We look forward to gathering with you!

For the month of April, we will be praying over Cedar Valley Church, located here in Mission. Pastor Michael Turner has provided us with some current prayer requests for their church. We hope you’ll come alongside and join us in prayer over Cedar Valley Church this month!
“This spring, we will be covering three different series:
- White Flag – Learning to fully submit to Christ to live fully alive in Christ
- Effective – Learning from Ephesians how to live an effective Christian life through your spiritual gifting
- And a final series, focused on the spiritual discipline of confession
We are excited for steady growth in our kids, youth, and young adult ministries. We could use prayer particularly for more people to serve on the kids team. Also, we are launching a “Campus Team” that is focused on ensuring that those who use our campus as a community centre know, feel, and see the love of Jesus.
It has been exciting to see our church community connecting more with those who are new to faith or just exploring faith. We would love prayer that we would be faithful with this opportunity and God would equip us to walk beside those who are becoming followers of Jesus for the first time.
We are also in a season of feeling called to be a church that is for our city, not just in our city. What our role in serving and reaching our city will look like is not clear yet so we could use prayer for discernment and unity as God leads us into our calling.”

Women's Spring Bible Study
|
Join us on Wednesday mornings at Northview Mission from 9:30-11:00am, starting on April 23, for a 6 week Bible Study that will challenge your perspective on holiness. Together, we'll explore what holiness truly is, how God views it, and how it should shape our daily lives. Holiness is a central theme in Scripture - appearing over 600 times - yet it's over overlooked. Through this study, we will uncover its richness and relevance for every believer. We'd love for you to join us! To find out more information and register, click the link below.

Parent Equipping Sessions
|
At Northview, we’re committed to helping people become deeply rooted followers of Jesus, and that includes equipping parents to guide their kids in faith.
Dating can be a tricky topic, especially in today’s culture. Whether your kids are just starting to ask questions, already dating, or you’re preparing for the future, this evening is for you. Lisa Toews and Pastor Luke will offer a biblical perspective and lead a practical conversation on how to walk with your kids through the world of dating with wisdom and grace.
Join us in the Atrium at the Downes Road Campus on Tuesday, April 29 or Thursday, May 1, from 7:00–9:00pm. Both nights will cover the same content and run alongside our Middle School and High School Youth nights, so come on the evening that works best for your schedule—especially if you’re already dropping off your child.
We’d love to have you join us! Register at the link below!

Weekly Prayer Request - Global Workers in Sensitive Regions
|
At Northview, we support several missionaries who serve in sensitive regions—areas where sharing information about their ministry could put their lives, or the lives of those they’re reaching, at risk due to political or cultural tensions. Because of this, we cannot disclose who they are, where they serve, or what exactly they do. In fact, we can’t even mention their names.
In a world where most communication happens through social media, online newsletters, and email, these missionaries remain quiet. This silence can make it challenging to share both their joys and struggles. Yet they continue faithfully, and they still need us, the church, to support them in prayer.
How to pray:
- Pray that they would be encouraged in their work and have the strength to persevere in difficult regions.
- Ask for ongoing protection and wisdom as they discern when and how to share the Good News.
- Pray that hearts would be open to hearing the truth about God, and that many would come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
- Ask God to strengthen and encourage new believers, who often face great hardship for saying yes to Jesus. The cost is high, but their faith is strong.
