In the middle of his letter to the church at Colossae, the apostle Paul instructs the people of Christ (at Colossians 3:17): “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

This weekend at Northview, we’re celebrating 19 baptisms across our East Abbotsford, Central Abbotsford, and Downes Road Campuses! These services are such a powerful encouragement to our church family as we witness lives being transformed by Jesus.

Our Higher Ground Bible Study is taking a pause this weekend so that our middle schoolers can take in the baptisms.

PRE-SERVICE PRAYER

At 4:15pm we pray for our campus & our neighbourhood. Join us in the Basement Lounge off of the main foyer.

NORTHVIEW KIDS

Did you know that this Sunday, our new Chilliwack Campus plant will start meeting in Centre Court? Pastor Luke Etelamaki will be leading this group as they start the incredible journey of reaching the city of Chilliwack together. Please pray for this plant and that they can find a good place to meet in Chilliwack.

Our Baptism Class is this weekend! If you have accepted Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and have questions about baptism, if you're interested in becoming a member at Northview and have not yet been baptized, or if you just want to learn about what baptism means, we would love for you to join our class!

Our class will be held at Central Abby this Saturday, March 29th from 7:00pm-8:00pm (after the service). You can register and find more information on our website by clicking the link below, or just pop on down to the class after the service!

We are so excited to continue working towards planting Northview Chilliwack! The next big step in this process is launching Northview Chilliwack Sunday services.

If you plan on calling Northview Chilliwack your home church, we invite you to join us for our kickoff gathering on March 30th at 11:00am in Centre Court at our Downes Road Campus. This will be a time to worship together, build community, and serve one another as we prepare to serve one another as we step into this new season.

Please continue to pray that Northview Chilliwack will grow into a strong, gospel-centred community with a long-term home in the city of Chilliwack. We’re so thankful for your support as this new campus begins!

Prayer is often an underused privilege with untapped potential. Sunday Night Prayer is an evening to draw near to God together. This time will guide you to slow down, reflect on who God is, and ask him to make things happen on earth as in heaven - in our lives, in our church, and in our world. Whether you come to pray or simply sit in stillness, you are welcome. Join us on March 30 from 6:00–7:30pm at our Downes Road location in Centre Court.

Looking to become a member at Northview? We invite you to join us for our upcoming Membership Class on April 8th from 7:00pm-8:30pm at our Downes Road location! During the class, we’ll walk through the history, mission, and vision of our church and explore what it means to walk in committed community with one another while deepening our roots in Christ.

It is with sadness that we advise that George Thielmann, a long time Northview member, passed away on March 24, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on April 4th in the Worship Centre of the Downes Road Campus. Let us be in prayer for George's wife, Lil, their children, and friends during this difficult time.
