Welcome to the Mission Campus newsletter! Stay up to date on all of the upcoming events in the life of our Church. This Sunday, we're studying Colossians 1:28 and celebrating 9 people being baptized at the Mission Campus! These services are always such an encouragement to our church family as we witness lives transformed by Jesus. "Did you Know" with Darcy

Did you know that we’re planting a Northview campus in Chilliwack? In January, we held an interest meeting where over 200 people showed up—some of whom have no connection to Northview at all! Pastor Luke Etelamaki, our Chilliwack Campus Pastor, shared his testimony and passion for church planting, and then he and Pastor Ezra shared the vision for the Chilliwack plant.

There is a lot of excitement for this new venture that God is calling our church to. Would you join us in praying for the people of Chilliwack who don’t know Jesus, and for a location that will meet our ministry needs?

Northview Cares

Did you know that The Pantry database has over 425 families who are actively receiving food security assistance from the Mission Campus? Thank you for continuing to pray for, give toward, and serve at The Pantry. If you'd like to get involved, fill out a serve card below and come join the other 100+ volunteers that help make this ministry happen!

This Spring Break, MEI will be sending a team of high school students to serve at The Pantry as part of a local missions trip. Please pray that their experience ignites a passion for local missions and inspires future missionaries and humanitarian workers to care for the widows and orphans in our community.

Membership Class

Looking to become a member at Northview? We invite you to join us for our upcoming Membership Class on March 16 at 12:30pm! During the class, we’ll walk through the history, mission, and vision of our church and explore what it means to walk in committed community with one another while deepening our roots in Christ.

CM Volunteer Opportunities

There are currently a few different needs within Northview Kids. Are you someone who loves organizing and tidying? We're looking for someone for 1-2 hours per week to help prep classrooms for the weekend service.

Children's Ministry is also looking for an Age 3 classroom teacher. If you love kids and are looking for a way to serve on Sunday mornings, this could be a great fit for you. If either of these opportunities interest you, fill out a Serve Card today to get plugged in!

Precept Ministries Canada Conference

Once you become a Christian, the world changes from a playground to a battleground, but you may not realize you are in the battle. The battle we face is not against flesh and blood but against the darkness of this world and the spiritual forces of evil.

Join Mark Sheldrake and Beth Schmidt for a two-day conference on Friday, April 4 & 5 at Northview Mission, as we walk through God’s Word, learning to recognize the tactics of the enemy and how to overcome Him through Jesus. Register using the link below!

Special General Meeting

Join us for our Special General Meeting on Tuesday, March 11 at 7:00pm in Centre Court at the Downes Road Campus. We will be voting to approve the updated design and cost estimate for the new Worship Centre. Everyone is welcome to attend, but voting will be for members only. The Special General Meeting package is available online or at our Downes Road office during the week.

Men's Retreat

Join us for the 2025 Northview Men’s Retreat at the stunning RockRidge Canyon Retreat Centre near Princeton from Friday, April 11 to Sunday, April 13. This year’s theme, Sharp Friendship, focuses on how Scripture, especially Proverbs, guides us in building gospel-centred friendships among men in the church. Let’s strengthen our bonds with one another and grow in our love for God together.

The retreat is open to all men, and we encourage you to bring your sons (middle school age and older) to share in this meaningful weekend.

Bible Reading Plan

As we begin this new month, don’t forget to pick up the March Bible Reading Plan at the Connect Desk. For those of you who haven’t yet been following along, we hope you’ll join us this month as we dive into God’s Word. You can also join the Bible Reading Plan through the Bible YouVersion app and interact with others who are reading along. Seasons Concert

Northview Seniors, join us for a wonderful evening of music, treats, and fellowship at the Seasons Concert on March 16 from 6:30pm–8:30pm.

Enjoy the beautiful piano pieces of Nathan Bosch, the soulful voice of Jacob Moon, and the lively jazz rhythms of the “About Time” quintet with Mel Bowker.

This is a ticketed event, with delightful refreshments provided during intermission (included in your ticket price). It’s a great opportunity to invite a friend and enjoy an evening of celebration, as we give thanks for God’s gift of music!
