Hey Mission Campus,
We will be continuing our sermon series, "Grow Up," and working through 1 Corinthians 1:10-17 this weekend. After our services this Sunday we will also be hosting 2 separate Baptism and Membership classes. You can sign up for these below, or simply show up at 12:30pm for the Baptism Class, or 1:00pm for the Membership Class. Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend!

Did you know we are celebrating the graduation of four Immerse students? Pastor Luke Friesen, Pastor Eric Heath, Pastor Levi Friesen, and Julie Pudlas have all completed their graduate studies! Luke, Eric, and Levi have earned their Master of Divinity degrees, while Julie has completed her Master of Arts in Biblical Leadership. Luke will continue as our High School Pastor, Eric is stepping into the Site Pastor role at Central Abbotsford, Levi is now the Site Pastor at East Abbotsford, and Julie is heading off on maternity leave. Be sure to congratulate them when you see them around! Well, now you know!

Each month, we’ll be supporting a different organization in Mission. This is a no obligation, low barrier opportunity for those that call Northview “home,” to help our community in a variety of ways.
SEPTEMBER: HOPE CENTRAL Did you know that many people who rely on food assistance have dental issues, or struggle to chew solid foods? Some of the most common things that are asked for from our Food Centres are foods like applesauce, fruit purées, canned soups (with pop-top lids), instant mashed potatoes and other soft foods.
Join us this month as we collect soft food items for those affected by houseless-ness who visit Hope Central. Drop off your items at the Connect Desk during any one of the weekend services throughout the month of September.

There has been a change in our regular office hours! As of this week, regular office hours for Northview Mission will be Wednesday and Thursday from 9-1pm. If you need to come by the office, meet with a pastor or reach one of our staff outside of these hours, please email [email protected] or give us a call!

Have you heard of The Pantry here at Northview Mission? The Pantry is a weekly program that runs on Sundays from 1-3pm (excluding long weekends) that offers canned and fresh food items free of charge. We also serve lunch and meals-to-go for everyone who joins us.
Will you partner with us in filling the shelves of The Pantry to support those in need in our community? On Sunday, September 29 we will be handing out brown paper bags after each of our services to be distributed within the community. These bags will include instructions for the home owner to fill the bag with needed items, and on Saturday, October 5 all of the bags will be picked up and returned to the Church between 11-2pm.
We hope you will join us to fill the shelves of The Pantry and provide for those in need within our community!

Sessions are happening on Wednesday evenings, and interested leaders must pass background checks and training through the Mission Institute. No previous prison ministry experience is required.
